US Media Lack of Report on Tunisian Revolution

In the weeks leading up to the revolution, Main Stream Media has tried to down play, what in my mind is the biggest revolution in my time. Flipping the channel from Fox News, Abc News, CNN, MSNBC, and other Mainstream outlets didnt even focus on it.
The Irony is when there was protest in Iran, over the elections every news outlet carried the story for days on days. The idea was that we were going to witness the demise of the Islamic Revolution. But that was far from the truth experts came in saying the "
Regime is doomed" and other complete non sense. Yet the protest were American orchestrated and financially backed. The Media thought it could help bring down the "Regime"

When Hugo Chavez the Venezuelan leaders was being overthrown by the military, it was with the help of the US media which change the perspective and made it appear as if Chavez called in his supporters to attack the opposition. Every news organization reported on this, even calling Chavez a dictator, and welcomed the change. Even New York Times wrote a front page news article in support of the Coup.We all know the coup attempt was a complete failure, and Chavez came back to power within a few hours, Thanks to the Venezuelans that poured to the street demanding him back. This was an embarrassment to the US Media.
Back to Tunisa,
It appears that Mainstream Media attention to the events unfolding in the past few weeks in the embattled country have been minimal. The media does not care about "Democracy", Only if its Democracy that favors the US Interest. Backing horrible dictators in the Arab world that oppress their people. The Media will report on revolutions that are ousting so called "Anti American Regimes"

In conclusion what was suppose to work in Iran and Venezuela was not suppose to work in Tunisia and American Ally.
